Terms of Use and Sale

These terms cover your use of the Brave Haven website and anything you buy from Brave Haven Aviation through it. Brave Haven is a veteran-owned limited liability company in the United States (“we”). By using the site or buying from us, you agree to them.

Training is not a substitute for approved data

Our coaching, workshops, courses, and practice questions are for study and test preparation. They do not replace FAA regulations, FAA-approved training, or the manufacturer's maintenance data. Always perform maintenance from current, approved data and within the privileges of your certificate. The practice questions are original and are not FAA test questions. No training can guarantee that you will pass an FAA test.

Buying a session

  • One-on-one sessions are paid in advance through Stripe's secure checkout. The price is shown before you pay, in US dollars.
  • After you pay, we email you within one business day to schedule the session.
  • Reschedule or cancel at least 24 hours before your session for a full refund or a new time. Later than that, or if you do not attend, the session is used.
  • If we need to cancel, you choose a new time or a full refund.
  • If you have not scheduled a paid session within 90 days of buying it, ask and we will refund it.
  • Nothing in these terms removes rights you have under consumer protection law where you live, including the right of consumers in the European Union to withdraw from a purchase within 14 days, which you agree ends once a session you asked to schedule sooner has taken place.

Organizations

Workshops, cohorts, and licensing for schools, employers, government, and military buyers are provided under a written quote or agreement, paid by invoice or purchase order. If that agreement differs from these terms, the agreement applies. Licenses, and payment for them, start when the licensed course is released.

Courses in development

Courses marked “In development” are not for sale yet, and their outlines may change before release.

Using the content

You may read, print, and use the content for your own study. Everything on the site, including the course outlines and practice questions, belongs to Brave Haven. Please do not copy, sell, or republish it, or use it to train others, without a license. Schools and employers can license or white-label it.

Other sites

The site links to other ventures and services, such as MilSpouse Elevate, Base Link, Windless Technologies, and Stripe. Each has its own terms and privacy policy, which apply when you use it.

No warranty and limits of liability

The site is provided as it is. We work to keep it accurate, but we do not promise that it is complete, current, or free of errors. To the extent the law allows, our total liability for anything you buy from us is limited to what you paid for it, and we are not liable for indirect losses. This does not limit liability that cannot be limited by law.

Your data

The privacy policy explains what data we handle and why.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the current version, and purchases are governed by the terms in place when you bought. Questions go to hr@bravehaven.io.
